Hamburglar hunted: $100,000 worth of beef patties stolen
Fri Apr 12, 2013
That is going to put a cramp in Hilton's profits. That 100,000 cost of burgers would have generated 900,000 at Hilton burger rates!
US delays missile test amid tensions with North Korea
Sat Apr 6, 2013
For those that say Let's just wipe out NK, do you think China is just going to sit by and watch it happen. China does not want a western style democratic society on it's border. That is why it supports and puts up with NK. It is a buffer between SK and China's border. For those that would now say we …
Grab your coffee mug: French vanilla creamer closes busy Arizona interstate
Wed Feb 13, 2013
Funniest accident I saw was about 30 years ago when a pretzel truck tried to swerve but hit into a beer truck and both vehicles over turned. And yes both trucks spilled some of their load out over the intersection.
1 in 4 indulge bizarre late-night food cravings
Sun Feb 24, 2013
Okay...money spent to tell us students eat strange combinations of foods. Often there aren't many choices in the dorm room frig and late night eating isn't uncommon. I remember Ra-man noodles being a staple and on really bad weeks crackers and using ketchup packets and water subbing for tomato soup. …
Obama vows action on gun violence: 'These tragedies must end'
Sun Dec 16, 2012
There are many points that relate to this tragedy. For / against all or some restrictions on guns, access to mental health, parenting, violence as an entertainment and others. And one that will play out in the background...money. Whatever side you take on any of these items be assured there is some …
Two people shot to death at mall in suburban Portland, Oregon; gunman also dies
Tue Dec 11, 2012
While you can argue for or against gun ownership, one law that should not exist is the concealed carry law. Can you imagine what the death toll would have been if there were dozens of people in the mall carrying guns...one nut job opens up...I am going to protect my family so I pull my gun out to sh …

To the other winner out there. I am the other winner. However, I am out of the country right now visiting my sick uncle who is a prince in Nigeria. Because of legal issues he is unable to access his funds for his care and maintenace of his palaces. As I can't get to the lottery to claim my half of t …
Diplomats surprised as nuclear talks with Iran 'constructive and useful'
Sat Apr 14, 2012
If Iran develops nuclear weapons, I don't think they would use them. Their leaders have no problem sending others to suicide, but they very much want to live and be in power. They know if they launch any kind of attack they sign their own death warrant. What is more likely to happen is like the kid …
Deadly clashes erupt after Egypt's Al-Masry soccer club is banned
Sat Mar 24, 2012
We see this same behavior to a degree in America too. How many instances of rioting can you recall after a city's team wins a championship or a major upset takes place at a college campus. I am a sports fan too, but I try to remember that the results of how "my" team does doesn't make me a better or …
Syrian general gunned down, state TV says
Sat Feb 11, 2012
The newspaper here has stopped carrying the comic strips. Some days a few of the post here make up for it. Is it me or is today a particularly funny day!
